UPDATE: mom called back. He is out of ICU. going to stay at the hospital for a few more days though.
just got a call from my mom...
Dad had a heart attack yesterday. Still in the ICU....
doc said he is going to be fine...but. this is scarey. hes barely 53...
send best wishes.

Sorry to hear that. Hoping for a quick recovery for you dad. My mom is the same age and had a heart attack a few months ago. Definitely brings on some weird feels when something like that happens to a parent.

Man, fingers crossed its as minor as they believe. To put it into context my grandpa was in his 50s when he suffered significantly worse damage from multiple heart attacks (heavy smoker+some bad luck) and had a complete heart transplant. He lived well into his 70s healthy and happy. Many pull through from heart attacks and live a long healthy life. My thoughts are with your family.

My father has had to make periodic trips to hospital due to blood pressure. It’s terrifying.

Sorry to hear about your pop. That really sucks. He needs to get healthy. He seems to have excellent taste in motorcycles. I never see Moto Guzzis out on the road. There needs to be more!

Kind of a shitty way to say rhis but my dad has had 35 years of heart related failures and tons of open heart surgeries. He keeps on ticking. The big thing is whether your dad will make adjustments to his lifestyle or just rely on medical technology.

Well shit. Everything will be OK. Unlike his boy, he has great taste in motorcycles. Everything has to turn out tits. It’s in the Canadian Criminal Code.
